|1.| Their 2008 Petit Verdot was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2010 Virginia Governor's Cup for red wines.
|2.| The husband and wife owners have been growing grapes since 2002.
|3.| They are currently building a LEED certified tasting room and winery – the first in Loudoun County.
|4.| The first wine the owners ever made was apple wine. Their apple wine now benefits Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption.
|5.| Their winemakers were previously at Waterford Vineyards, which eventually became Corcoran.

Hunter’s Run Wine Barn  Fun Facts:

|1.| They offer and sell Corcoran Wines.
|2.| The barn's motto is "wine-down-on-Rt.-9".
|3.| The barn was built by the company of the owner's husband, completed in 2004, and named after the couple's son.
|4.| The owner hails from County Limerick, Ireland and loves the color green (big surprise there).
